The question often arises, “With all your other activities, how do students find time to cover the basic academic subjects?” The answer lies at the heart of Education for Life. When the full range of student needs is being addressed, there is a natural enthusiasm for all of life, including academics. Conversely, when academic goals are emphasized at the expense of physical, emotional, and spiritual health, there is a tremendous waste of time and resources.

Students who have attended Living Wisdom High School have been accepted at such institutions as the University of Colorado, University of California, Lewis and Clark College, St. Mary’s College and Naropa Institute, to name a few. We cover the normal college entrance requirements: 4 years of math and English; 2-3 years of science (biology, chemistry, physics); a foreign language, etc.

Here are photos of some of the former students of Living Wisdom School of Nevada City. Most of these students have graduated from either our Kindergarten through 8th grade program, and some have graduated from our 9-12 program. We have just begun to contact them and look forward to sharing more. Click on a picture for a larger image, and possibly more information on the graduate.
