Swami Kriyananda, Founder
Swami Kriyananda (J. Donald Walters), founder of
our school philosophy and the Ananda communities, visited our
school recently on his visit from India. Each student wrote to
Swami, espressing appreciation for our school. Below are photos
and excerpts of their writing. Swami spent a half hour answering
our questions.

“I
love your school. It is fun and always exciting. A few things
like about this school are: everybody is so kind and friendly,
they like you no matter what happens, the teachers are great
and can solve every kind of problem.”
“What I like about my school is that there are good
friends.” |

“Thank
you so much for sharing your love with the teachers, students,
parents, and kids. With love and courage you have created
a community where people in every stage of life can devote
themselves to living a divine life. Thank you for making
a community where I can live and feel God’s presence.” |

“Three
things I like about this school are the ability to be yourself,
good friends, and kind teachers.”
“The first thing I like about this school is the joyfulness
that makes you feel like home. At Ananda it’s mostly
peaceful. The second thing is friends: they’re nice
and they are there for you. They help when you are sad.”

“Thank you for making
this community and especially this school. I love this school.
The kids are very nice to me. I love the teachers here.
I don’t want to leave this wonderful school. I want
to stay from 1st – 12th grade. I love the vibration
here.” |

“I like my teacher
– he is very good. Also we go on fun field trips such
as our trip to Yosemite. Thank you for all the things you
have done, Swami Kriyananda.” |
